Altcoin: A digital currency alternative to Bitcoin.

Anonymous: A user who has paid to remain anonymous when posting or commenting.

Blockchain: A distributed digital database of economic transactions that is decentralized, public, and stores all valuable data.

Blockchain protocol: A set of rules that governs how blockchain data and transactions are processed.

Cross.social DAO token: A token purchased to become a member of the DAO and contribute to the platform's management; one token equals one vote.

Cryptocurrency: A digital form of currency.

Cryptocurrency exchange: A platform for trading cryptocurrencies for other cryptocurrencies.

Crypto wallet: An application that stores private keys for accessing cryptocurrencies and facilitating sending and receiving of cryptocurrencies.

DAO: A decentralized autonomous organization governed by a vote of its token-holding members.

DAO member: A person who has purchased a DAO membership with tokens and can vote on the platform's development, modification, and other issues.

Integrated token: Also known as a native token, the primary currency used on the cross.social platform for day-to-day activities.

IP: An initiative proposal submitted by a DAO member and voted on by other members for implementation.

Leverage: The use of leveraged capital to transact cryptocurrencies.

NFT: Non-fungible tokens that are unique, immutable cryptographic assets stored on a blockchain with unique metadata and identification codes.

Pre-seed: The first stage of investment to raise initial capital for project development.

Smart contract: A pre-established set of rules and measures written on the blockchain that cannot be changed.

Token: A cryptocurrency asset that represents a measure of value and is stored as a unit of a blockchain transaction.

Validator: The initial investors who buy the first tokens in the pre-seed and validate the content.

Voice delegation: When token-holding DAO members delegate their vote to another DAO member whom they consider to be a trusted expert to vote on a particular proposal.
